These courses and the institutes that offer them are for those that love animals and then some, to understand their genetic make-up, their nutrition, their upkeep, and taking care of their health as it is obvious that animal healthcare differs in some ways from human healthcare. For one, they do not have insurance! The advantage with on-campus study is that you get to meet with your lecturers, on-demand, you get to train hands-on with the test animals on the campus grounds hence further understanding your studies. It is easier to study on-campus as your colleagues will motivate you and assist you as compared to studying on your own.   1. ArgosyUniversity: This University is located in the state of Minnesota and offers Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology at its Twin Cities Campus. This course takes about 21 to 30 months to complete. You need to have aced your SAT’s and TOEFL assessments and passed all heath tests.
